Here is a recipe for a Kale and Banana smoothie, forwarded by a fellow member of our CSA.
Kale and Banana Smoothie
1 Banana
2 cups chopped Kale
1/2 cup light unsweetened soy milk
1 Tbsp. Flax seeds (try to grind them, as your body will not get any nutrients from the flax otherwise)
1 tsp. Maple syrup
Directions:
Place the banana, Kale, soy milk, ground flax seeds, and maple syrup into a blender. Cover, and puree until smooth. Serve over ice.
