This is exactly why we grow our own food. You, with the CSA, are doing a great service in your community. We had to buy a few "organic" greens from the local grocer this past winter for a couple weeks. It was a frightening experience, all the "organic" produce was from another country...Mexico. Our goal for this year is to avoid that two week period all together...fingers crossed.
Guess what, we have our own CSA type customer and possibly another one in the works. She emailed us today and told us how wonderful everything was. That was a really good feeling.

Way to go on your first CSA share, with the volume and variety of things you're growing I'm sure there will be plenty more. The feedback from CSA customers is a big part of the reason we're doing what we're doing too.
